In his never-ceasing concern for others, I'm impressed that President Trump had Cohen threaten legal action if his school records were released. No doubt many so-called journalists would have been driven to dangerous levels of insanity from the embarrassment when they discovered that behind the curtain was actually a stable genius.

I use to watch the Sopranos on DVD and amazed me the number of folks who the Feds had something on and forced them to turn. They had killed people, robbed and extorted money and yet were used as witnesses. Chris Smith called the early LDS origins as a criminal enterprise. Cohen has shown the same of the Trump organisation.

I've never seen the Sopranos. When I traveled to the UK I was surprised how many were familiar with the show and how their antennae went up when they learned we were from the East Coast. I met one person who planned to visit the US for the express purpose of touring every filming location from the show.
People think the mafia/mob is a joke, a fabrication. Organized crime is real. At least one mafia family (Genovese) had a home right where I grew up. It doesn't surprise me at all that Trump functions this way. It disgusts me to the max. But it doesn't surprise me.
Cohen alluded to people in the Trump Organization that might wipe someone out if they crossed Trump. If that is accurate, I sure hope the supporting information comes to light.

The real underlying story, in my opinion, is how sustained right wing propaganda has utterly corrupted Republican partisans and most ideological conservatives. None of this happens without that supporting it.
We’re living through worse Nixon and the outcomes are quite different because of this different political reality.
