Someone awesome just sent this song to me. Which is cool -- but I don't feel left out, or looked down on.. (If I am I don't care!!) Yet, I am doing better on my own. And I am in the middle of the ride. Actually feel so good I pity any woman who isn't me today. :)

Hey
Don't write yourself off yet
It's only in your head you feel left out
Or looked down on
Just try your best
Try everything you can
And don't you worry what they tell themselves
when you're away

It just takes some time
Little girl you're in the middle of the ride
Everything will be just fine
Everything will be alright

Hey
You know they're all the same
You know you're doing better on your own,
so don't buy in
You live right now
Just be yourself
It doesn't matter if it's good enough
for someone else

It just takes some time
Little girl you're in the middle of the ride
Everything will be just fine
Everything will be alright
It just takes some time
Little girl you're in the middle of the ride
Everything will be just fine
Everything will be alright

(whoo)

Hey
Don't write yourself off yet
It's only in your head you feel left out
or looked down on
Just do your best
Do everything you can
And don't you worry about what their bitter heart
are gonna say

It just takes some time
Little girl you're in the middle of the ride
Everything will be just fine
Everything will be alright
It just takes some time
Little girl you're in the middle of the ride
Everything will be just fine
Everything will be alright

Talk about sad, Tim Buckley was one of the saddest folk singers that ever lived. Alot of people are familiar with his son Jeff Buckley, his Dad died too young also, heroin overdose.

Then I found this guy that sings the song almost better than Buckley!

That is such a beautiful song!

I'm going to post the lyrics. It brought tears to my eyes. Oh! It feels as though it's mine. I dream too much...

Long afloat on shipless oceans
I did all my best to smile
'Til your singing eyes and fingers
Drew me loving to your isle
And you sang
Sail to me
Sail to me
Let me enfold you
Here I am
Here I am
Waiting to hold you

Did I dream you dreamed about me?
Were you hare when I was fox?

Now my foolish boat is leaning
Broken lovelorn on your rocks,
For you sing, "Touch me not, touch me not, come back tomorrow:
O my heart, O my heart shies from the sorrow"

I am puzzled as the oyster
I am troubled at the tide:
Should I stand amid your breakers?
Should I lie with Death my bride?
Hear me sing, "Swim to me, Swim to me, Let me enfold you:
Here I am, Here I am, Waiting to hold you

I love it, too, AF!

Here's a video with better sound. The video stinks, so minimize it and just listen to the song. :)

PS - I've been listening to different versions of Keep Your Lamp Trimmed and Burnin' this afternoon. My daughter sang it in a vocal competition this weekend. This guy does a good job of it. Music only, no lyrics:
