They have the artificial time window either way. So, a better way of putting it is he's not going to let them be an impartial fact-finder and is going to limit what they are allowed to find. (Assuming the reporting is correct.)

The reporting states that the FBI cannot ask the supermarket that employed Judge for records verifying when he was employed there. If that's true, it could not be more obvious that the fix is in.

The president also said he thinks Flake's role in delaying the vote is fine. "Actually this could be a blessing in disguise," Trump continued. That highlighted portion really caught me by surprise. The Democrats really need to be in lockstep mewing about the scope of this investigation otherwise their delaying tactic is pointless.

If that is true, that leaves the cloud over Kavanaugh as dark as ever, in that it undermines any ability of the investigation to at least give some legitimacy to his confirmation. It seems like the kind of move one would make if one had a strong reason to believe it would turn out poorly for one's hoped for outcome.

There is zero credibility and the her allegation is not necessarily the focus of FBI. You mistake hysterical screaming woman at elevator as being equal to "credibility".
