Not only is he attacking science, understating the number of Blacks killed by police by 20 fold and dismissing all career DOJ officials under him, who object to what he's doing, as corrupt or unqualified amateurs, he is now "pulling a Nixon" by claiming that, as AG, anything he decides to do, no matter what, is by definition legal, without regard to established laws or the U.S. Constitution. I bet he aspires to not only establishing Trump as the absolute dictator Trump desperately wants to be, but to succeed Trump as the next absolute dictator after Trump leaves office. The last thing Barr wants is to preserve the ideal of American democracy.

He has made it blazingly obvious that he intervenes in prosecutorial decisions only in favor of Trump allies, and against Trump opponents.

I almost wrote that, but what he meant to imply was probably "herd immunity." I have no doubt, though, that "herd mentality" was a Freudian slip, reflecting what he really wants.

Me too! I dread the thought of one or two more corporate owned, heartless ideologues like Kavanaugh or Gorsuch being added to the Supreme court.

Yeah, I believe that Kavannaugh shouldn't be on the Supreme Court. Senator Murkowski was the only GOP Senator who did the right to not vote for Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

Trump recently came out with his list of choices for the Supreme Court, and I don't want Trump to nominate another person for the Supreme Court. I want Biden to nominate Ginsburg's replacement for the Supreme Court.

Maybe Ginsburg shouldve retired at 80 during Obama's 2nd term for a slam dunk appointment. But alas, the gamble for handing Hillary Clinton an opportunity to appoint failed...and you don't get a reward for that loss.

Certainly no one would have faulted Ruth Bader Ginsburg for choosing to retire at that time, after so many years of honorable service. And I can't deny that the Democrats would probably not be facing the current dilemma (at least, not to the same degree) if she had.

But I don't think McConnell would have been any less determined to find some pretext for denying Obama an opportunity to appoint a new Justice.
