So, do you have an argument with that? Because the President attempting to legislate over Congress should have been the bigger damned deal, in my opinion. Asylum seekers had their children stripped from them and thrown in internment camps. So, worse than criminals, maybe?

here is a fun diversion for you...how many children were brought into this country by non-family members for the purposes of sex exploitation or labor exploitation?....now how would you propose that such a distinction, at the border, is determined? in the presence of the child's trafficker?

Again, the bigger issue is the motherfucking executive branch attempted to take over the role of the legislative branch and then criticized the judicial branch as being partisan hacks for upholding the Constitution. Including the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court who felt the unusually need to comment on a post by said twitter-happy fap-baiter.

Seeking asylum does not magically change an illegal entry into a legal entry...you do understand that, correct?

Spoiler, seeking asylum is what defines a person as an asylum seeker. Your idiotic question tripped over circular reasoning and landed on a tautology.

Oh, double spoiler, immigration status by law cannot be used to determine if a person can claim asylum. So, yeah.

Well. If they're in Mexico we can't really treat them like criminals can we? So, the alternative is to inter them into a sort of, I dunno, secure area, under guard, since they aren't legally immigrating stateside while their asylum requests are considered. That's kind of like, I dunno, a prison and I have the feeling we'd have the Left whining as much as they do now.

So. What do?

1) Let them in and ask them nicely to show up at an immigration office on such and such date to consider their asylum request. Meanwhile they're undocumented, possibly diseased, possibly criminal, or possibly unemployable meandering about the US doing whatever. Who knows? Maybe a few of them will end up on a construction crew getting paid by a white man profiting off their status. Sure hope they don't break a bone swinging that hammer in Atlanta!

2) Bar entrance into the US while they make a claim for asylum and we'll get to it when we get it to it. That's probably one of the reasons why you don't want to show up with 6,000 others to make an asylum request, no? It kind of bogs the system down and places your host country under tremendous pressure to care for you and prevent the spread of infectious disease.

3) Bum rush the border and get repelled for a nice photo op so white people can act aghast.

4) Go home.

What would the Left have us do? I suspect it's probably #1 since they don't care that 11,000,000 human beings are walking around our country undocumented and being taken advantage of by others for cheap labor.

Again I already put forth my fix on this whole mess. Apparently my Congressman appreciates my input because I received a nice form letter letting me know he's down with Trump.
