Should he be allowed to run for any office? Read the book I linked before, if a quarter of it is true, he is as dirty as they come. You claim you don't have a side...well, then you are only looking at one side then.

In they end, at least for me, it is about what they get done. For me, Trump is getting done things that I care about, and what I believe are good for the country, and unfortunately the lies, hypocrisy, tweets, etc...are part of the package, just as the packages that come with each other person running.

I've caught Warren lying. There is a massive difference between the way (and frequency) she lies and the way Trump lies. Her lies are sophisticated half-truths and work based on a shared reality.

Trump lies like a dumb child who ignores reality and wants to will you into believing a damned idiocy that has no relationship to facts or common sense. I have become convinced the entire GOP lies this way now, because it happens to work on their base. The GOP base wants to be lied to; they are clamoring for it. They have some feel-good BS sentiments that need to be regularly fed.

Do you see this as not being enough to "get rich," unrelated to his position as President, or....?

I don't have a great love for Biden, but it seems pretty clear to me all this corruption crap that is coming out just this year is completely due to the GOP suspecting he will be the nominee, and so they need a scandal to drill home to their base similar to the way they made Clinton's emails a scandal out of damned nothing.

OK, let's clear this up. In the sense that there are two political parties that you can join or stay out of, I don't have a side. I'm an independent. If the GOP ever got their act together, became truly conservative and quit treating their base like morons, I could vote for them again.

In the sense that there's an argument over whether Trump is a damned moron/incompetent/criminal/piece of crap, you're right; I have a side. I'm on the side that says he's a damned moron/incompetent/criminal/piece of crap.

I can say all of that without ever needing to tell you what I think of Buttigieg's plans for healthcare, or Sanders' college tuition plans. I favor the Democrats this election because none of them seem anywhere near as incompetent as Trump. That's all it takes for me this time. I'll take semi-competent, semi-honest over completely incompetent bullshitter any day.

So that's why I was critical of Hillary. She could be jacking up the Democrat nominee's chances, and all I care about is Trump's removal from office. I'd prefer my country wasn't led by a damned moron.

The vast majority of it has been after he took office. Just taking the first thing on my list as an example, some of the trademarks had previously been rejected prior to him becoming President.

One of the more recent batches of trademarks were approved for his daughter -- a few days later, Trump announced seemingly out of nowhere that he was going to help Xi Jinping to help save ZTE (the Chinese telecommunications company).

I am largely against what it has become. I wish that Trump's executive order on lobbying had been something he actually intended on enforcing.
