If you believe this, and if this is the case, then why are you always complaining about ‘taxing the rich’,
No, I'm not worried about ever being part of the upper tax bracket. I doubt I'd fit in with them politically. The rich don't stop being the rich once these taxes are implemented. In fact they get more rich. All the taxes do is drive their money to be invested in other countries that are more free and tax friendly. Socialism is not going to end well for your country. At this point, I don't really care enough to try to stop you anymore. I think I'll just sit back and watch it burn.
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Of course most voters aren't informed enough to understand that these increased tax costs levied against the rich are passed on to consumers. And yet the 1% seems to get richer and richer in spite of this line that voters continue to buy over and over again.
If you believe this, and if this is the case, then why are you always complaining about ‘taxing the rich’, as if you expect to join that club someday and subsequently be taxed into poverty?
He thinks if we take more of the loaf for society, he won’t get their crumbs.

Would you want access to a good education, food and shelter if you were unable to get it, healthcare available if you're sick?
Well, yes. But more importantly, I like the idea of being in a place where I know that everybody I meet is secure in their basic needs, and enabled to develop as far as they are capable of.

Because it's nicer to meet people like that in daily life than those who are living with concealed desperation and fear - including the fear by those who have that those who have not will turn on them in rage and hate and take what they need. That's no way for a human being to live.

At least that's how I feel about it. And you?
I think you pretty much nailed it. Personally I think the existence of billionaires is a social sin and will result in the inevitable desperation you describe unless we do something about it. Obviously personal wealth is a good thing since it moves people toward productivity if they feel there’s a living to be made, but as with all systems and paradoxes at some point the feedback loop of human nature will kick in and unless we can have, I dunno, checks and balances, I’m afraid we’ll regress. It’s always a delicate dance between the haves and the have nots, and right now the pendulum here in the states has swung way, way too far to the haves-too-much.

I noticed you were kind of quiet during COVID Brackite. Do you think the shutdowns have been worth the price we paid for them? Do you think California and New York deserve federal money for policies that you have no vote in?
California's Governor Newsom has been pretty strict with his stay-at-home orders in regards to COVID. Governor Newsom is facing a serious recall effort mainly because some Californians disapprove of his handling of COVID. I don't really have an opinion on whether Newsom should be recalled or not.

My GOP Governor in Arizona here has been criticized from both the right and the left on his handling of COVID. While he has made a few mistakes in his handling of COVID, I didn't support the couple of recall efforts that have been launched against him here.

This is such a dumb (dishonest) way to look at the situation. The real question is, "Do you think the shut downs were worth having an incompetent baby in the White House for the last four years who refused to take responsibility for the country he was elected to lead and decided to spread idiotic misinformation about COVID instead?"

Christ, Trump supporters are dumb as rocks.
Religion is for people whose existential fear is greater than their common sense.

The god idea is popular with desperate people.

Well let's see what your party does about it and who actually ends up paying the taxes. You have no excuses now.

I know that neither you nor I have any say in the matter but do you think it's right that federal taxpayers should be paying for California's decision to lock down?
My GOP Governor in Arizona here has been criticized from both the right and the left on his handling of COVID. While he has made a few mistakes in his handling of COVID, I didn't support the couple of recall efforts that have been launched against him here.
So do you think the lockdown was appropriate and worth the economic cost in Arizona?
