took my defense of Debora Iyall's (Romeo Void) beauty and humanity out...
no need to get as mean spirited and hateful as charity...
Blixa, I edited myself before I had to snip. I hope you weren't implying that I was being hateful. I think with my remark about "someone for everyone" that expressed my sentiments on the matter. I also mentioned no one having sex with me to imply that ones physical attributes is not related to having a partner. Of course beauty is subjective. My best friend in my early 20's was not a "traditional" beauty and I recall watching her as she lounged and thought that she was one of the most magnificent beings I'd ever laid my eyes upon. Something about her ampleness and roundness was stunning.
I have many thoughts on here and try to temper them before I hit submit. Sometimes I'm better about that than at other times.

I also spazzed out about a month ago on BcSpace for talking about his wives attractiveness. It pushes my buttons. Sometimes I'm good at taking deep breaths, at other times "pig" "male chauvinist" and "asshole" comes tumbling out of my fingers. Then I end up going back to edit it. I'm trying to edit before I hit submit.
For the beauty of women that is seen in creativity, in intelligence, in empathy, in determination, in strength, in forbearance, and all the attributes that make us unique outside external dictates of beauty foisted upon us by males.
Goodness gracious Moniker, I was not referring to you.
I've been trying to hold myself in check around here (meaning the whole board, not the Old Testament) for quite some time. It's easy to let the nastiness, negativity and personal insinuations that one reads seep into what one writes. I don't know why it gets to me like it does, but I do occaisionally find myself emotionally affected by some of the utter filth spread around by those who see themselves in possession of The Truth of The Gospel. Anyway, its my weakness. I need to filter what I read better and not respond to ignorance, hatefulness, pretension and smuggery (for lack of a better word).
From the Ernest L. Wilkinson Diaries: "ELW dreams he's spattered w/ grease. Hundreds steal his greasy pants."

I am so glad you replied. I was just logging on to PM you and tell you precisely what you said above! It's soooo hard for me at times! And, unfortunately, it just seeps through. I hate that I can be hateful! It's difficult to hold myself to a certain standard when others don't have that same standard. It's difficult for me to be empathetic at times, to them.
Anyway, glad you replied and expect a PM from me in a few days asking about something or other. :)
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

If you don't have the album he did with Burt Bacharach, I think you should get it (I'm 90% sure it's called "Painted With Memory")

If I have a cross to bear in life, its that I am callous. What I said was wrong, and I thank you for correcting me. Once again I expose myself who talks the talk more than he walks the walk.
