How do you propose we go about doing that?

Here are the facts, Rock:

On Liz's board you were obsessed with criticising Daniel Peterson, to the point of harassment. If he blew his nose, you'd have objected to that. Then, you'd have "moments", like "I want to understand you, Dan", then you'd apologise for being too critical, and virtually say, "Okay, it's all good, I understand you". Then, when hardly ten minutes had gone by, you'd be following Dan around like a Blue Ass Fly wanting to criticise his every move again. You were obsessive in your harassment of DCP.

I really thought, at one mistaken time, that you were really a "more objective Exmo".

How disappointed I was to find out the truth. And you're showing it again in all of your posts here.

I don't think there's much you can do about it, and as per your desire to let the board go in whichever direction IT wants, perhaps you shouldn't even try to influence its direction.

Let nature take its course, so to speak.

Sounds like the story of Dan’s life … a set of groupies that feed his ego, and always the need for some malevolent stocker to persecute (why do you suppose he seems to attract them so readily).

Seems to me that this was at a time when Dan had put his foot into it pretty good on a couple of hot issues, and yes I asked him the hard questions, while everyone else kissed his butt.

Blue Ass Fly is fine with me, compared to the relationship that I see Liz and you in with Dan, Russell etc. You’re coming to Dan’s defense in a thread that has not even mentioned him sure brings back the good-old-days.

And unlike your “objective Exmo”ism, I’m still a member. I’m just not very objective (tolerant) about old school apologetics.

I didn't see anything "hard" about your questions. Stupidity galore, yes. It wasn't "questioning", it was harassment, until you got the answer YOU wanted. And when that didn't come, you ba ha ha haad like a cry baby who didn't get his daily fix of Dannopesecution.

Rock, you silly boy. Anyone on Geeks who couldn't see your obsessiveness and hatred of DCP was asleep at the wheel.

And you never go to Church because..........................?

You're afraid to call DCP an "old skool apologist"? Except on message boards like this one?

Mighty brave of you, Rock.

Now would be a great time for you to take up this offer Shades. Indeed you will find that Liz has NOT been the one doing the MDB bashing, but indeed an MDB bashing thread exists and tends to be frequented (well was at the time) by Stem's, Jersey Girl and Ray's love for this place.

I say go check it out for yourself.

I've never made it any secret how I feel about "this place" Rock, not even to Shades by email.

Unfortunately, the halcyon days of MDB seem to be over.

Bring back the balance, then it might start to roll again.

Are you joking?
The board is currently at a peak of vibrancy.
There's some great thought provoking discussions going on with some great contributors from all sorts of perspectives (not least of which is maklelan, who has added more academic depth to the discussions and debates) as well as some fantastic banter. Take a stroll through the forums and threads therein, pause a while to listen to the discussions on Christianity, share a beer with Ceeboo whilst discussing the merits of raccoons and whales, a glass of grape juice with Quasi, a verbal joust with Darth or Sock....

Do you feel unable to contribute?

Is that the problem?
That said, with the Book of Mormon, we are not dealing with a civilization with no written record. What we are dealing with is a written record with no civilization. (Runtu, Feb 2015)

I don't know about unfortunate.

I got a kick out of it. I just read through it now for the first time.

Me, I personally really don't care either way, but if it was my choice, she could stay with her friend, Liz, on the geeks board, and I wouldn't bat an eye.

I, personally, don't enjoy talking with her at all, so I don't miss her at all.

Just don't say anything in chat if she is there, that you don't want to be spread around. She and Liz are terrible in that regard.

Don't say I didn't warn you in advance, either.

Although I can't speak for Jersey Girl, I can say that frankly I don't find you an incredibly nice person to talk with, either. We used to be, what I would consider, at least friendly toward each other, but that changed, and to be honest, I can't even remember which episode of MDB drama caused your hostility toward me.

As far as chat goes, no one here really has anything to worry about. I haven't really had the time or desire to go into chat for at least a year, probably closer to two years.
