I hope Kavanaugh gets confirmed to the Supreme Court because it would be political suicide for the Republicans. I think the democrats have a better chance of winning Congress if Kavanaugh is confirmed. It would be bad news for Democrats if the Republicans replace Kavanaugh with Amy Coney Barrett.

The GOP tried to commit political suicide months ago, but it was a failed attempt. They underestimated how much BS the Drumpf base would accept.

At this point, there's nothing these guys could do that would get people to question their "good governing intentions." If I were a selfish, money and power grubbing douche bag politician who couldn't give a damn about America, I'd act like they do too. You can get away with anything these days. Their base is that oblivious.

But it is possible to reduce the number.

Right, but DNA evidence is superior.

"No one doubts that eyewitness evidence is risky. Hundreds of innocent people have been exonerated by DNA evidence in the United States since the 1990s, and eyewitness misidentification was the root cause in 70% of the cases" https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2015/12 ... cumstances

The answer is more Science.

I'd also advise against bearing false witness in court against innocent people. I doubt Justice Thomas or Justice Kavanaugh would look very kindly upon you when you go before them to be judged.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Isn't she unabashedly pro-life though? If people are worried about Kavanaugh and Roe v. Wade, there would be torches and pitchforks if Barrett got near a confirmation hearing.

Yes, sort of.

What are they gonna do? Accuse her of raping someone?
