Snagged this before the paywall popped up. Not formatting it. You can see it here or go right to CNN or any other "news" source of your choice. There's a bit of artistry in this kid. See if you can catch it.
What we know
• In custody: The suspect in the killing of Charlie Kirk has been identified as Tyler Robinson and is being held without bail in a Utah jail on several charges, according to officials.
• Speaking tonight: Kirk was fatally shot on the campus of Utah Valley University on Wednesday. His wife, Erika Kirk, will make her first public remarks tonight since his death. CNN will monitor and update with details.
• More on the investigation: Investigators discovered a bolt-action rifle wrapped in a towel, and inscriptions — including one that read “Hey fascist! Catch!” — were engraved on casings found with the rifle, officials said. Read about what the engravings could mean.

A recap of what we learned in the last several hours in the case of Charlie Kirk's death
From CNN's Elise Hammond, Aditi Sangal, Dan Berman, Hannah Rabinowitz and Holmes Lybrand, Elizabeth Wolfe and Holly Yan
New details are emerging about the man accused of killing Charlie Kirk. Right now, he is being held without bail in a Utah jail after a 33-hour manhunt.
Here’s a recap of what we learned in the last several hours:
Where things stand: The suspect, Tyler Robinson, is being held on several initial charges, including aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm and obstruction of justice but has not yet been formally charged. He is not talking to investigators, sources said.
What’s next: Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray plans to file charges on Tuesday, according to a statement. The office said it is currently reviewing evidence. Also on Tuesday, the suspect is expected to make his first court appearance.
How investigators caught him: Robinson’s father recognized the young man as his son when police released photos yesterday, a law enforcement official told CNN. After confessing to his father, the suspect said he would “rather kill myself than turn myself in,” a law enforcement official briefed on the investigation said. A family friend ultimately contacted authorities, Utah’s governor said.
New personal details: The suspect is a third-year student in the electrical apprenticeship program at Dixie Technical College, Utah Valley University, where Kirk was killed, said.
Discord: The group chat app said its investigation found no evidence the suspect promoted violence or planned the shooting on its platform. Earlier Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said the suspect’s roommate showed authorities messages on the app from the suspect.
Bullet casings: The phrases engraved on ammunition reference video games and an anti-fascist song from Italy, according to an expert. None of the inscriptions are statements or symbols related to transgender people, despite earlier reports they expressed transgender “ideology.”

Even if truckloads of Southern Boys headed to Utah for revenge, it would take truckloads of additional ICE agents to take out a whole town of Mormons. Do you really want to go that far? Even if Vlad Putin helped back you up?

Re: Charlie Kirk shot at UVU in Orem
Most everything Charlie Kirk stood for is despicable and both stupid and antithetical to both democracy and the Christian ideals of loving one's fellow humans (even one's enemies) as oneself, in which most conservatives claim to believe. Nevertheless, assassinating him for his beliefs is every bit as immoral as anything he advocated. If his assassin is a liberal or progressive democrat opposed to what Trump and his MAGA sycophants currently stand for and are trying to accomplish (which is, by no means certain by this point), assassinating him and making a martyr of him in their eyes was the stupidest thing that assassin could possibly have done. Whoever the assassin is deserves the same prosecution and legal penalties under the law as any other murderers, regardless of their political persuasion. His assassination is more likely to hurt Democrats than Republicans, which leads me to strongly doubt that any even partially rational and U.S. Constitution-loving Democrat or progressive was responsible.

This is why Donald Trump will award the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Charley Kirk.

Re: Charlie Kirk shot at UVU in Orem
Yes, I need to wait for the facts to come out. One thing I will agree with Schmo on is that my presence on this board is not doing anyone any good.Hound of Heaven wrote: ↑Fri Sep 12, 2025 8:48 pmAjax, allow the Marxist progressives on the board, such as Canpakes, Bishop Schmo, DrCamnPP, Fibber Wang Chung, and Gunnar, to embarrass themselves in this thread by attempting to persuade everyone that this individual was a conservative.
Fibber Wang Chung is attempting to create a narrative suggesting that this individual was a devout Mormon. However, anyone with a bit of common sense can foresee that the likely outcome will reveal his family as staunch Republicans and MAGA supporters, and that this person may have been radicalized by progressive cult information.
I can imagine that his whole family, even the extended members, leans Republican, and he might just be the sole left winger among them. Believe me, he's a radical leftist, and there's nothing Fibber Wang Chung can post on the board that will alter the result.
I will wait a few days for the details to emerge, after which it will be evident how devoid of compassion and filled with animosity the progressives on this board truly are. They have several threads on the board aboutthis shooting, clearly trying to convince people that this individual isn't a radicalized ex-Mormon or a radicalized Mormon. Regardless, he has been influenced by progressive cult ideology. Just wait and see! I will return in a few days.
Jason Tatum seemed to have figured this motive thing figured out. Tyler Robinson scored a 34 on his ACT. And where did it get him? It got him a scholarship where he was radicalized into leftwing university ideas like "Speech is violence," therefore you have the right and obligation to respond to speech you don't like or agree with violently.
Nick Fuentes, an opponent of Charlie Kirk, gave some very good advice at this watershed moment. Conservative Christians are filled with righteous indignation at this point. It's very sad to see a young brother like Tyler Robinson so talented, be totally beguiled and carefully led down to hell by Satan himself speaking through leftwing university professors and social media. But if we are not careful, prayerful and in the utmost control of our emotions, we could very easily land ourselves a seat alongside Tyler in hell for the next 1000 years. From what I've observed, gathered and cobbled together in my life, I've concluded that vengeance in these kind of situations is never satisfying. In fact, it just makes the rage burn even hotter. The Lord Jesus Christ's way is the best answer we have. It doesn't change the fact that this probationary period we're living in just sucks most of the time. But there is a better way forward for every one of us. And that way is when we do things His way.
That being said, it's a futile mission for me to try to straighten everyone out on this board. There's just not enough time. I need to break this addiction. I've got more important things to do. And I can't continue to function in the mental state that reading some of the comments here puts me in.
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Re: Charlie Kirk shot at UVU in Orem
This is all I have to say. The killing of Charlie Kirk was heinous. NO one should be harmed because of their political views spoken at a peaceful assembly.
The "Right" is going to say that the "Left" is responsible for this.
Everyone's going to start yapping about gun control without passing anything to make improvements.
LISTEN. If this country didn't act when Sandy Hook happened it's sure as hell not going to act now.
The political rhetoric and status/power seeking is absolutely repulsive. That elected officials (by US) are running their collective mouths instead of doing their DAMN JOBS is nothing short of robbery of the American people and it doesn't matter what "side" is doing what.
Collectively they aren't doing their JOBS and taking our money.
End to this political football game at our expense and the expense of human lives.
F it ALL. F it all to hell and back again.

ajax, maybe you should visit UVU. It is, by no means, a left-wing university staffed by bunches of left-wing professors and steeped in left-wing ideology. And the claim that Robinson is going to toss all of his own and his family’s intellectual, political and cultural opinions and influence merely because he spent a single semester at a (*gasp!*) university just sounds like a desperate rationalization of his action.ajax18 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 13, 2025 1:53 amJason Tatum seemed to have figured this motive thing figured out. You know. If the man whose username means Ethnic Cleanser Adolf Hitler could read for understanding he might’ve already discovered this STRAIGHT, WHITE, MALE, Mormon was the furthest thing from a Leftist. Ethnic Cleanser Adolf Hitler has made every assertion and every assumption except the one that would lay the blame at his ideology’s feet.
And that’s the problem. Instead of seeing the bigger picture and implementing obvious solutions, he and his ilk just want to start murdering people to make this country into whatever they thought it used to be at some point. It’s insanity.
Hey, Ajax, do you know who is this?

I'd like to clarify: Are you stating that Tyler Robinson, while attending this progressive, left-leaning university, was so influenced by this leftist/progressive environment that it caused him to become involved with the extreme far-right Groyper movement?
If so, do you know how bat crap crazy you sound?
