Schmo interpreted your statement as suggesting that animals exhibit greater compassion than MAGA. I interpreted it similarly, but I also recognize that you likely intended MAGA to imply ignorance.

However, you haven't provided an explanation, and it seems that the reason for this is that you realize any attempt to do so may unintentionally convey a racist perspective.
