I think Simon is quickwitted, Randy's in it for the money, Paula's a boozer or something, and the auditions are hilarious.
Where's Simon to critique Mormonism?
Cowell after reading the Book of Mormon: "That was absolutely dreadful."

I'm more the Nashville Star type. I avoid A.I. like I avoid the real A.I.! ;-)

Ok, I think I'm taking this to the wrong forum, right? Perhaps I should have put it in somewhere else? I'm posting another rant down at the bottom in that one forum that doesn't have anything to do with Mormonism.

I love American Idol! I'll watch it this week because it's the "good" singers. Hollywood week! Yay!
I love Simon. Yes, Bond, I agree with you. If Simon attended an LDS Church meeting, he would likely say, "What an utter mess!" LOL

There is something about watching someone’s dreams get crushed right before your eyes that makes for good entertainment. I can only take so much of it though before I can no longer suppress my empathy problem.

I watched last year until the rock guy lost, Daughtry is his name I think. The guy who won was awful.
I saw two this year that seemed pretty good, the black guy who was backup for Christina Agulara (spellcheck) and the white kid with the afro who said he wanted to make David hasselhoff cry. Both of them had great voices.
