My excuse is that when I'm listening to music I'm in my car or at home and can put my music on and listen to it without one. When I'm travelling or stuck somewhere I prefer a book. Gotta start Harry Potter soon so I can finish reread before new book comes out.

Nehor, us Pariahs can go sit in a corner.

I don't have an Ipod or an mp3 player or even a cell phone. I haven't felt the need to have any of those things. When I'm at home or in the car and I want to listen to something, I usually turn on talk radio.

As for music, my CD's include a mix of techno pop and alternative rock--Depeche Mode, the Clash, BAD and I like Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson. AFI is growing on me since I'm forced to listen to them by my kids.

hehe Ok my turn:

1. Paul Oakenfold - Zeno
2. Ezekiel 25:17 (performed by samuel Jackson) for Pulp Fiction
3. Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson
4. Talk to Me (Angels with Dirty Faces) by Tricky
5. Strangers - Portishead
6. Bassnectar - Creation Lullabye
7. baby its you - Smith
8. Beggers Day - Crazy horse
9. Jungle Boogie - Kool and the Gang
10. B.B King - The thrill is gone.

This list is actually really funny considering the amount of classic rock and blues on my ipod. Mostly what I listen to.

Awesome! Miscellaneous Debris. I also like their cover of Peter Gabriel's The Intruder.

Rent appearing on your playlist reminded me of the mock broadway play from Team America:World police where the lead character sings "everyone has aids"
And crawling on the planet's face
Some insects called the human race
Lost in time
And lost in space...and meaning

Yes, I'm a true heathen. Rent is one of my favorite musicals.
