There was no hidden meaning in that song at all. I only wish I were so intriguing...

I was listening to a different song on You Tube and that one popped up, catching my eye. I remembered it from when I was younger, so I listened to it and thought I'd post it here.

I have done that soooo many times!

I feel like such a dofus every time I do it. And it happens fairly regularly:

Ever been listening to Led Zepplin, and then thought to yourself, "I wish they were more Elvisy...."

Well said silentkid. Here here. (Or I should say - hear hear?)

I've liked pretty much 80%+ of everything that's been posted in this entire thread. And I think that ratio is kinda close for pretty much every person contributing (Gaz especially is a good-music-posting-machine!) - I think we have some pretty good musical tastes around here.
Apologies if I'm not making enough 'Ohh - I like that' posts, but if I did that for literally everything I liked, I'd barely have time to do anything else :)

Thanks!

My kids enjoyed the videos as well.

Did you and your kids watch them all? If so, what troopers!

Whats your opinion of Puffy Amiyumi?

I didn't know too much about them beforehand, so I watched the three videos you linked plus a few others on YouTube.

They appear to represent typical J-pop fare. Their lyrics are rather lowbrow, especially compared to Wink's, but that, too, is pretty much standard for J-pop. What can you do?

They got so popular over there right after Wink faded that they got their own cartoon show.

I've watched it once or twice out of curiousity. Pretty gutsy to intersperse Japanese phrases, sans subtitles, into an American show.

Yes, you should say "hear hear." That's because you're encouraging people to "hear" what the person just said.

Lots of people make that mistake, for some reason.

Puffy Amiyumi rock in concert. Their back up band is tight, and their live vocals amazing. Their audience banter was truly hilarious and infectious. Too bad some litigous dick had a conipition and wouldn't let them use their actual name---they are just plain Puffy everywhere else but the United States of seanjean. Ugh.
