I have to go on record as another crazy cat lady. I always have at least two cats - at one point in my life, due to my inability to turn away a stray, I had four. Fortunately, my boyfriend is also a pussy lover. ;) However, he has the sense to stop at one, and jokes that I will turn into the crazy cat lady with a hundred cats one day.
I usually get my cats when they stray onto my property or from rescue shelters. The two I have now are the prettiest cats I've ever had (with one long-haired calico exception) but they're truly nuts. If cats aren't exposed to humans immediately after birth, they're never quite comfortable with us, and these two aren't. You can be petting one as she purrs, and then suddenly she'll turn around and smack you. Psycho! Good things I'm crazy enough for cats that even psycho ones look cute to me.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.
I also had a psycho cat in college named 'burner'.

My cats, sisters, are named Thelma and Lousie. I thought I was immensely clever until my children informed me *everyone* names their cats Thelma and Louise. :(
But their personalities have certainly lived up to the names.
How odd that there are so many cat lovers on this board. Hmmmm, must be something about a cat lovers' personality that attracts them to a board like this. Or maybe cat lovers become exmormons at a higher rate than dog lovers. Less loyal? (snicker)
