If you want a rebel go with Fight Club or anything by Nietzche.

If you want to go after the majority of girls get a Harry Potter paperback and totally wear it out. Dogear pages, wrinkle the cover, spill coffee on it. Make it look like you're totally into the series. Carrying around a copy of Harry Potter usually works in the english speaking Western Hemisphere.

Oh! Yah. Nietzche made me a devoted slave!!

*not kidding*

*but please think I am*

So what kind of girls do you pick up if you sit around reading a comic book?

What if it's a Manga?

What if it's the original Japanese edition?

Maybe I should stick with Asterix. I can almost read French.
That's General Leo. He could be my friend if he weren't my enemy.

I don't think I could do Harry Potter even for chicks. I don't think I've ever wanted to read a series of books less.
I'm gonna go with Ayn Rand or Nietzche...

I'd 've thought there's a market there...!

Manga scores manga chicks....although since men outnumber women 5000 to 1 in the manga market you better be willing to swing both ways.

Comic Books? Probably a 45 year old man who looks like Comic Book Guy.

Yikes! Well, in that case, who could I pick up if I'm reading printouts of MDB?
The Onion?
A book on Optical Illusions?
A book world domination?

I don't know what this means about me.... and no need to illuminate.... but I'm a comic book freak. I collected them for years, and they're sitting in plastic safely secured for some future unknown date and unknown purpose. :D

Manga and comix will get you my ex-wife. Hell, that's how I first got her to go out with me, I just asked if I could borrow a manga.

I did once pick up a chick by reading "The Psychedelic Experience" by Timothy Leary, but she was quite nuts.

You are very welcome.

That was fun chatting with the both of you!
