Suggestions for creative ways to prevent magazine theft

Anyone care to give suggestions on how to prevent persons from stealing magazine from a waiting room? Jersey Girl and I came up with a few, but got a little too carried away with the idea.

Buy crappy magazines? That seems to be what most offices do.
