WASHINGTON, July 13 (Reuters) - U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Tuesday warned would-be migrants from Cuba and Haiti against trying to reach the United States illegally by sea, saying the voyage was too dangerous and they will not be allowed to enter.
"Let me be clear: If you take to the sea, you will not come to the United States," Mayorkas said at a news briefing.
Coast Guard officials are monitoring by air and have not seen a surge in migrants since the unrest in Cuba and the assassination of Haiti's president last week, he said.
U.S. officials were prepared to deal with any surge, he added.
Mayorkas, whose family fled the Communist takeover of Cuba, said the issue had personal significance to him. He also stressed the danger of the journey.
So why isn't Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez standing on the beach shouting to defund ICE and open the borders as she did in Texas? Why is the same administration that called Trump a Nazi for his remain in Mexico policy taking a hard line on Cuban immigrants from a communist regime that you'll be sent back whether you survive the shark infested waters and get a foot on US soil or not? Well these aren't JFK Democrats. Today's Democratic party would never criticize a communist regime, since they themselves are aligned with communism. So why do they want Central American immigrants but not Cuban American flag waving immigrants? It all comes down to domestic politics. Cuban immigrants are likely to vote Republican while central American immigrants are likely to vote Democrat.
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.
Give it a few days; let’s see what she says. Looks like she tweets about once a day (unlike the Former Guy) and has used at least one of those tweets from the last several days broadcasting support for the new child tax credit increase that you’ll be taking advantage of this week.

Yet another thread started by our resident Nazi, focusing on immigrants...
Most people, even the morons, understand that being met on US soil is much different that meeting at sea, in terms of what is legally required to happen. If they make it to Florida they'll go through the same process as those who make it to Texas. There is no "reversal in policy."
Damn you're dumb. No way in hell you came across this reading Reuters. You came across it at Brietbart or DailyCaller and figured you'd cite the source after right wing outlets did their job in getting you riled up about nothing.
On Wednesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “America Reports,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) argued that the Biden administration only has an aversion to people entering the United States illegally if they’re Cuban and “the only immigrants on the face of the earth that they don’t want to come to America are Cubans.”
Cruz said, “It seems for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the only immigrants on the face of the earth that they don’t want to come to America are Cubans. That’s the only instance in which the Biden administration is expressing a resistance to people coming here illegally. In my home state of Texas, we have open borders. We had the Biden DHS releasing people, hundreds of thousands of people.”
What happened to borders being immoral? I guess that doesn't apply to immigrants who probably won't be voting for democratic socialism.

So you cannot provide any evidence of open borders. All you do is quote a Republican moron from Texas, the same one who fled to Cancun while his state's electrical grid shut down. There have never been "open borders" ever. Get it through that thick skull of yours. All the Briefart reading in the world isn't going to change that fact.
So you cannot provide any evidence of open borders.
lol

Right. Pretend to be laughing as your way of ignoring the question the same way your doppelganger's nervous twitch is to spam us with youtube videos instead of responding to requests for evidence.
There is no evidence that the Democrats support "open borders" unless you redefine it to suit a straw man like you do everything else.
