Lawyers, Guns & Money

Post by _Mercury »

Heres a little riff on power and how to maintain it:

The use of systems of law, Military force and manipulation of Capital are at the center of history. A trifecta of power could be spelled out by these three interests. Corporations are entities that can be created and killed off by the state. On actions allowed by these corporations certain military force is used to emphasize a need by multinationals. This is not Mercurys tinfoil hat Conspiracy hour, this is just an observation.

Assets and how you move them around determine if ones bottom line appreciates or plummets into the red. Those who have the wealth make the rules because they have the power to do so, passed down through their generations by other powerful people. It will probably be this way for a while longer, as its embedded into our genes that we ensure the success of our genetic peculiarities. Trust funds and nepotism are how this is accomplished. Kill generational wealth and you kill the beast that has held onto power for centuries.

How do we fix this? Is it something that we even need to fix?
And crawling on the planet's face
Some insects called the human race
Lost in time
And lost in space...and meaning

Does it really matter? In order to kill your observed beast, one must make a new one. If it were possible it would have been done decades ago.

Just an obseration of mine.
