Hello!

I'm back...for a day at least.
I can't believe it's been five weeks. I am SO tired, but it's all good. Hope you all are well. Little Steve is definitely a character, he is so quiet with strangers, but hollers at his parents regularly. :-) He's a flirt, loves women. Just like his father.
He talks in his sleep...all night. He laughs when he gets on the edge of sleep which everyone says is normal, but it still scares the hell out of me. He's just so loud with it! If you're not looking at him, you won't realize the laugh is coming from him, it just doesn't sound like something a five-week-old baby would do.
Life in the "S" household is pretty good, but like just about everyone else in this country, we're still struggling financially. What assistance I had got cut off now that the baby has been born, because (natually) Steve acknowledged paternity. He "makes" a good amount per year, but between taxes (his babymama won't let him claim one of his twins, and he gets raped because he files single) and child support we don't see half of what he makes each pay period. But he's about to change that. She's gonna let him claim one of those kids or I'm gonna beat her. And we're getting the child support lowered, because every time we turn around, she's asking for something. Bank accounts that he's to fund for the twins that she has access to, cell phones, shoes, clothes...um, that several hundred dollars a month that is more than what you pay in rent isn't enough? I hate her...love her daughters, but hate her.
The girls adore their brother, but sadly they haven't been able to meet yet. That will happen in April. Hopefully I'll be working again by then. I hate not being able to work. Even though I'm still not 100%, I feel guilty that we have to struggle so because I stopped working. Everyone tells me that I did the right thing, but I just don't feel like I did.
But anyways, I just wanted to say hi.
Here's two pics of my little Mugwai...he's grown. Gained 3 pounds and 3 inches in a month. His eyes are blue, his hair is starting to turn reddish. Can't you tell I'm in love? No matter how many times he wakes me up at the crack of dawn (or before), I can't get enough of him!
