Beverly Eckert died near Buffalo, NY plane crash.

What was claimed “Miracle on the Hudson” was, in fact, the summit competence of the pilot. It was luck and skill combined. What happened today near Buffalo, NY was an absence of “luck.” The investigation for scientific fact will continue to determine genuine cause. The crew discussed significant accumulation of ice on the wings of that plane. That was rational assessment. Propinquity is a critical factor in the unfolding of sequential events as well as their aftermath. Without question, the “crash landing” in the Hudson could have ended with the deaths of all on board as well as deaths of those in buildings in New York City.

Today, someone said regarding the Buffalo plane crash: “God blinked.” But, the claim for the survival of everyone on Flight 1549 in New York was called (by some) “a miracle.” It’s interesting that in today’s time of information regarding reason for events and rational explanation for occurrences that many people still default to superstition as explanation for fact and the sequence of events.
