The only one I know is time. Time heals all wounds. I don't know if I completely believe that, but it does help.

Hold on. Hang out with good friends. Ride it out.

Sorry to hear it.

The best remedy is to examine who initiated it.

If it was you who broke it off, then focus on the reasons why you did so.
If it was her who broke it off, then think of it this way: If she's the type of person who would do that, then she's actually doing you a favor, isn't she?*

(I'm not being flippant; I know this from personal experience.)
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

I don't know if this works for men, but a girlfriend of mine said the best way for a woman to get over a man is to get under one.

I can't comment further.

Do as I'm doing...start chasing a new one.

As much as I endorse this treatment method, I think for once I'll break the cycle and take a break.

Best revenge is to live well.

Well, murder is better but may be illegal in your jurisdiction. Check local laws.

LOL

I don't know if it is because I'm getting older (or just more dysfunctional) but last few breakups have been long, drawn out, and ugly.

I miss the good old days in junior high when you could tell the young lady's girlfriend that you two are no longer "going out" and that was that.
