I think this is an evil, deceptive plot by the Mopologists.

We're currently in Phase 1, but when the Brillo pads and trained chimpanzees are unleashed on an unsuspecting world, you'll know that we're in Phase 2 -- and it'll be too late to save your kitchen utensils.

Remember when you ran away and I got on my knees and begged you not to
leave because I'd go berserk?? Well...
