It wasn’t a bow

The old "don't believe your lyin eyes" gambit how fresh and new.
It wasn’t a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he’s taller than King Abdullah.
He wasn’t bowing . . . he was ducking in case someone threw a shoe.
The setting was world leaders mingling before their official photo at the G-20 economic summit in London on April 1. The heads of state were being photographed with Queen Elizabeth II — to whom Obama did not bow.

Maybe he was going to tie his shoe? Or maybe the king's shoe?

You can clearly see his left hand coming up for the two handed shake at :05, after the bow. And they stand shaking hands for a few seconds after the bow. Either he was bowing, or he was picking something off the floor.
The White House should come clean and just insist that a "bow" in this case is a sign of greeting or respect, not submission or deference.

Yeah, I'm disappointed that they're not just admitting it. It's not a big deal.

Yeah, it's not nearly as bad as George W. Bush french-kissing the Saudi Ambassador
after 9/11.
And I'd rather have a President who has a problem with bowing than blowing.

Such would be a badge of honor so I don't think that will ever happen to Obama. More likely is that he would go low enough to lick someone else's shoe though......

Hey idiot, how's the armed resistance to the secret Muslim terrorist President coming along?
