Gaz, I've only been listening to Wilco for about a year and a half. SilentKid and cksalmon are much more familiar with them, but I'll share some links to songs of theirs that I like. I hope you like them, too. If you do, don't miss the Vegas concert. Wilco puts on a fantastic show. I think SK will be at the Vegas show, which is only a few days after my OKC show. I can't wait!

I'm The Man Who Loves You (I like the signer in this video--I like to sign this Wilco song, too.)

I Must Be High

California Stars

Jesus Etc.

Spiders

Handshake Drugs

She's A Jar

Far, Far Away (Far and away my favorite version of this song.)

Shake It Off

Via Chicago

Sky Blue Sky

Ashes of American Flags

Muzzle of Bees ("There's a random painted highway and a muzzle of bees. My sleeves have come unstitched from climbing your trees...")

Pieholden Suite (A great performance of this song!)

On and On and On

Kamera

Wishful Thinking

Please Be Patient With Me

My Darling (Very Beatle-esque song)

Hummingbird

Red-eyed and Blue/I Got You

Misunderstood

There are so many other good Wilco songs, but these should suffice to get you addicted.

I need to go pick up my kids from school now. It's a quarter to three reflecting off my CD.

Still loves rock-n-roll,

KA

Wow! Much thanks Kim. I'll work through these and then see what itunes has as far as getting some for my ipod.

I need a new band to get into. The current music scene seems very anemic. I miss the days when I had to pick and choose which CD I wanted due to money constraints as opposed to quality.

You're very welcome, Gaz.

There are a few folks around these parts who don't like Wilco. Bond is one of them, but I think that probably speaks to Wilco's credit.

All of their songs should be available on iTunes. They've a new album coming out in June which I'm anticipating muchly. Their sound changes a little on each successive album, so it will be interesting to see what comes up next.

PS. Thanks for the acoustic Mraz tune on your jukebox thread. It was fantastic! Courtney loved the concert, by the way. The Plain White T's opened for Mraz and she said it was even better than the Celine concert!

Did Mraz wear sparkly underwear like Celine?

He probably wasn't wearing any at all!

I was just listening to Wilco and it suddenly hit me that I'm kinda tired of them. Weird, I know. I think I'm ready to move on to something new. I may return to them, but for now I'm going to experiment a bit.

I think I'll peruse the Jukebox thread for some new tunes.
