New Doctor Who Matt Smith (right) and his new assistant Karen Gillan go through their lines on the location of Doctor Who in Cardiff, Wales

I know its a strange thing to see this guy in the role of The Doctor, but I was a little put off by David Tennant when I first saw him as well, and now hes my favorite. Heres hoping this new guy can pull it off. I think he will, as the overwhelming success of the series over the past few years will no doubt cause the creators to seek out the best writers and artists they can find. (Unless they are somehow tied to Fox Broadcasting, in which case they are doomed)

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it referred to a new album by The Who.

I like his boots.

I watched Doctor Who when the Christopher Eccleston was the doc, I thought he was sexy, then I was dissapointed when he changed and more dissapointed when that chav "AM I bovered" girl took over from Billy Piper that I stopped watching it. :P I have good reasons. LOL. And I do like those boots. I like boots in general lol.

Karen Gillan looks good as the latest cutie. My favorite was the second Romana.

That was the first Romana. Romana two was the one who dressed like a British school girl, complete with oversized lollipop. (Honest Officer, she said she was thirty and just liked dressing this way).

What series was that one? itunes has alot of Who's for sale. I don't think I've seen that one.
