US raises stakes on Iran by sending in ships and missiles
Of course if Iran comes back to the table as a result of all this, it will only have been because of the threat of force or the use of force. So Obama breaks a campaign promise and rips a page from the Kennedy(who was quite conservative)/Reagan/Bush playbook.

I thought from the title of this, it would be referring to the meeting with the Republican Caucus.

by the way, this will be different than the Bush playbook in that it will have words.

I'm confused. According to you, did Obama do the right thing, or the wrong thing?

A stunning admission that the playbook works. Most people understand what "a post 9/11 world means", but for those with 2nd or 3rd grade comprehension levels, there is always Tony Blair to explain it to you.

He did the wrong thing by playing in the Iran's game of delay and by thinking they were serious about peace without Iran comming out way ahead to the detriment of the rest of the world. This is one of the reasons why liberals are some of the stupidest and most uneducated people on the planet. He is possibly and belatedly going to do the right thing now, but he's doing it because he knows he has to, not because his orignal modus operandi and campaign rhetoric were correct.
The best that can be said about Obama now is that it's better to have someone in office (like a true conservative) who doesn't have to learn these lessons that are already found abundantly in history. More likely is that Obama is being forced to act against his lefty nature by some slightly more intelligent advisors.

I'm pretty sure Sarah Palin took a history course in the 11th grade.

Doe she think that Austrian is a language. Does she think that Hirohito surrendered on the Missouri to end WW2 in the Pacific.moksha wrote:bcspace wrote:
