I find an Awake magazine in my foyer floor this evening after returning home from work. None of us have any explanation on how it got there. I went outside and tried to shove it under, over, etc. the door, but the door is too tight to shove anything under or through. I already knew this, but tried it anyway- twice. No one in our household has any explanation as to how it got there. As far as I know, the door was locked all day and was still locked when I got home (w/keyed deadbolt lock). My only explanation was that perhaps it was one I previously had acquired, but then I looked inside the front cover and it is dated Feb. 2010.

I've never heard of "Awake" magazine. What type of magazine is it?

If you ever see the one with the picture of "the sons of God" sitting on a cloud looking down on the bathing "daughters of men" lusting after them, do scan and post it here. It's hilarious.

Awake is a publication of Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. In other words, Jehovah's Witnesses. They've really improved on the graphics and paper quality.

I've thought of another senario of how it got inside. There has to be a logical explanation. Jehovah did it. J/K

I remember after the election, there was a piece on "This American Life" about Obama's smoking habit. The lead in was something to the effect that, "It's hard to believe that he has any flaws but ..."

My wife raised money for Ira Glass when she was WBEZ. He yelled at her once that she wasn't listening to his program. She responded that she could do a more effective job of raising money for him when she DIDN'T listen to his program. She referred to it as "This American Strife".
