Utah has some really screwy laws when it comes to Liquor. The DABC (Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control) was told that they must cut $653,000 from their budget.

The crazy thing is the DABC is one of the few (if not the only) state run departments that makes a killer profit for the state of Utah. Since they are making budget cuts across the board for government run departments and services, they are forcing the DABC to do the same.

Hello!!!!

The DABC is forced to either cut their hours or close some stores to fall in line with the budget. The store they are closing makes 3 Million in Profit!

Only the Government could make such a bad business decision.
