(To MODS: this is a Terrestrial subject.)

Ray, do you causally drop your running times into conversations ;) or when speaking to an athletic conference.

I thought the thread was tongue-in-cheek, so I gave a tongue-in-cheek reply. Besides, I waited to see if anyone else got the "gist" of it, and no one replied. But I'll do the right thing by you.

I've already done a mile with a 55 lb weight bar over my shoulder to simulate the gold plates and I'm not even a big strapping farmhand. Do I get a presidential medal of honor or something?

Hi Ray - sorry, I didn't mean anything by the response. I did think that 10.1 was pretty quick. I can remember being timed at something (50 yard dash) in Jr. High, to bad it wasn't for being kind.

I don't think you've yet earned the honor of "New Apostate from Mormonism", but keep up the good work, and you will someday.

It's actually very pedestrian, because
White men can't runThat 9.58 is the equivalent of an 8.7 100 yards. (But I realise this is probably off the subject)

And if you had any sense you'd have realised that this could have caused you serious spinal injury, or even paralysis.

Ray,
10.1 seconds? Are you a lion?
