Erm... I'm completely fine with Obama... I like some things he does, I don't like others... so yah... umm... the thread title is a bit of an assumption.

Not all Mormons are against Obama and I have a feeling that many less Mormons would harbor negative feelings if those engaged in political talking points had not so voraciously filled their mind with poison toward Obama from the get go. Using ward newsletters, ward list calling trees and conversations at Church can be harmful to a people who are also vulnerable to affiliation fraud in financial matters. Especially when the no lie is too big approach is utilized in terms of the political dynamiting of their opponents. The truth is that Obama is not a Kenyan commie socialist Marxist Stalinist Nazi Muslim out to destroy our right to eat bacon or let our bacon bear arms.

No, he is a Democrat, which is much worse per mr space, who knows what true Mormon doctrine really is.

I didn't know about the hat rule ..smoking would be one and the fact that he is half black ...well the latter would depend on the date the photo was taken ...

The only reason I've heard in Mormondom is because his politics are contrary to the gospel of Christ.

Most Mormons don't like Obama because his ideology and actions are anathema to the Gospel of Christ. Because yes, he IS a socialist/communist/facsist, etc.

These things are not "lies", they are the truth from his own words, actions, policy's, history, associations, teachers, mentors, etc. You people have no clue that he gives you lip service for one thing and then does another, and sometimes states such directly and indirectly.

Take his so-called fiscal conservatism by not repealing the Bush tax cuts.
1. He and Democrat's wanted to do it forever, thus not keeping a promise.
2. He did it to decieve, by telling you and emphasising one thing while he did other things behind your back that are anything but fiscally conservative.
3. In other words, to the one tax thing he kept in place, he's implimented 100's of taxes and policy's that do damage.

In other words, those of you who believe in Obama have been sold a bill of goods. He's all smoke and mirrors, doing the very things conservatives have warned you about. He tells you what you want to hear, making you think he's a moderate, but sometimes he slips and tells you his true agenda, but then his ACTIONS makes clear who he really is and what he really believes. Yet, most of you still follow along like sheep, simply because he seems nice. sad.
