Obama suing one of his own states?

Post by _Dr. Shades »

This video showcases a pretty grave indictment of the actions of Obama vis-a-vis the goings-on in Arizona:

I can't really see a way to refute it. What's everyone else's take on this? Is there an alternate viewpoint I'm not seeing?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

The dude's logic is certainly irrefutable, especially at the end where he used the "first they came for the Jews" quote in an effort to scare us into believing that Obama will be coming after us average citizens to put us away.

After all, it follows perfectly well that suing a state legislature and governor for usurping a function of the federal government (making and enforcing immigration law) is just the beginning of a slippery slope that will eventually end in law-abiding white folks being carted off to the gas showers.

All factually accurate.... Liberalism is an insidious disease, they pervert everything, just like anti-mormonism by the way.

And to the guy above, local governments "mimic" Federal Law in almost everything, thus your argument that the state actually trying to enforce federal law by having it's own law is simply malarkey and completely ignorant. Obama et al suing the state is entirely to try and get as many illegals in the country as they can, and to get more Democrat supporters. It's all corruption.

Same for the Unions.... Unions are simply another Democrat corrupt mechanism for Democrat power, especially public sector unions.

There you go. Everything that you oppose is an insidious, perverted disease. You're not at all paranoid. But I can't help wondering how you manage to breathe with your head so firmly wedged up where the sun never shines.

And to the guy above, local governments "mimic" Federal Law in almost everything, thus your argument that the state actually trying to enforce federal law by having it's own law is simply malarkey and completely ignorant.

Sure, they do, in areas of law that do not affect international relations and national interests. If you can show where states have made their own treaties or declared war on other countries (or even something like enhanced penalties for treason), go ahead. I'll wait...

Obama et al suing the state is entirely to try and get as many illegals in the country as they can, and to get more Democrat supporters. It's all corruption.

I hate to upset your fragile little Beck-ish fantasy world with facts and reality, but:

1. There were 5% more deportations in 2009 (Obama's first year) than 2008. And that was double the number for 2001 (Cheney/Bush's first year, with a GOP Congress). Claims of non-enforcement are just plain lies.

2. In 2010, ICE changed its policies to concentrate its limited budget (Congress only gives them enough money to deport 400,000 per year) on immigrants with criminal records first, something we should all applaud.

3. Contrary to right-wing fantasies, illegal immigrants can't vote (and don't attempt to). What's more, most of them are even more socially conservative than the average Republican.

By the way, when they first announced the decision to sue Arizona, I was a little annoyed. They were in the right, legally, to do so, but it was a stupid move politically.

It would have been smarter to simply ignore Arizona's silliness and let it slide. After all, as few people seem to realize, the AZ legislature amended the original bill and removed the teeth from it (including the profiling), so that the law as signed really accomplished nothing new. It was really not much more than a message bill that made people think they were doing something.

But the Obama administration has been consistently incompetent politically, especially when it comes to getting their message out and letting people know of their real accomplishments.

Amazingly, most people believe their federal taxes have gone up, instead of the fact that 95% received a tax cut as part of the stimulus package (including businesses); and that taxes are high now, rather than the fact that they are lower than they've been since the 1950s. Also, people are still arguing against the health care law as if it were UK-style universal care. The widespread ignorance is incredible.

Of course, it doesn't help that the opposition has a huge advantage in corporate money and media exposure, coupled with a willingness to blatantly make up their own versions of 'facts' and repeat them until they become commonly believed. That is very difficult to overcome.

Why shouldn't the individual states have the right to enforce their borders if they have the responsibility to provide education and healthcare to those who enter in? The federal government doesn't fund medicaid correct? Most prisons seem to be funded by the states, another burden upon state taxpayers. If the federal government wants to let everyone in and refuse to enforce the border than let them, but the self appointed superior moral people allowing this should have to personally pay for it, not a democratic people who have voted that they do not wish to assume the burden.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Is this satire?
"I have more to boast of than ever any man had. I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church together since the days of Adam. ... Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I." - Joseph Smith, 1844

False judgment and representation of me and my words. This is what liberals do, they misrepresent (pervert) everything.

My judgments of liberalism is based on experience, knowledge, and comparison.
Years ago I once voted for Harry Reid, but at the time I was completely ignorant of the "war" that is occuring between good and evil in even politics. The left is the "left" for an actual reason. I understand the flaws of liberalism, and more importantly the "effects" of those ideology's on humanity. Liberalism is satans perversion of truth and right, in politics. Satan has his "counterfeit" in everything, including politics. Of course, this is mostly "modern" politics. Democrats of the past were still mostly conservative, but with some liberal tendacy's. Today the radicals of the 60's/70's have taken over the discussion, ideology and powers of the Democrat party. There are very serious reasons why Zell Miller left the party.

Further, it is not true at all that "everything I oppose" is evil.... I don't believe in other religions, thus in a generic sense oppose them, but I don't consider them evil. I don't like most Country Music, but I don't think it's evil. I do however believe music like Punk, Rap, Heavy Metal etc. is indeed evil, of the dark side.

And to the guy above, local governments "mimic" Federal Law in almost everything, thus your argument that the state actually trying to enforce federal law by having it's own law is simply malarkey and completely ignorant.

You are conflating issues..... For example, if there WAS a "war", States would organize the people etc. Likewise, states have every right and even legal and moral obligation to enforce federal law, that is if they see illegals, they arrest them, and turn them over to the Feds. Your judgment is seriously flawed on this, just like all issues.

Obama et al suing the state is entirely to try and get as many illegals in the country as they can, and to get more Democrat supporters. It's all corruption.

I hate to upset your fragile little Beck-ish fantasy world with facts and reality, but:

It is your views that are fantasy, because you misrepresent the issues AND conservative views in order to attack them.

Nice facts, but irrelevant to the point. You again misrepresent conservative issues and arguments in order to attack them.

3. Contrary to right-wing fantasies, illegal immigrants can't vote (and don't attempt to). What's more, most of them are even more socially conservative than the average Republican.

False.... Illegals DO vote, because a significant majority of them take on false id's.
Further, you miss the actual point again. The illegals often end up becoming LEGAL... Their children become LEGAL.... This creates an entire segment of society that is primarily Democrat.

Also, being "socially conservative" means nothing. Most Asians and Blacks are socially conservative, but they are still Democrats as a whole and significant majority. YOu again misrepresent the facts in order to condemn my point.

Anyway, liberals utilize Illegals, Unions, Political organizations etc. in order to consolidate, create, and increase their power. They essentially by corrupt principles utilize the "state" to further their power. They used the banks such as Fanny/Freddie to create the current crisis, because they forced the loosening of banking rules so more "lower class" i.e. blacks could buy homes. Fanny/Freddie was ran by big Democrat's. Bush and others tried to prevent the problem, while Democrat's like Barney Frank blocked all attempts.

Anyway, liberalism is perversion just like anti-mormonism is. I don't care if you believe me or not, it's the truth, and I've shown you above some of how you do so.

Half correct..... They had no "right" or obligation at all. There are plenty of reasons why this is. But, you are right it was stupid politically.

Hey, you said something accurate.... But, then why did they have a "right" to sue? After all, the law simply mimicked the federal law, thus no legal nor moral right.

But the Obama administration has been consistently incompetent politically, especially when it comes to getting their message out and letting people know of their real accomplishments.

Again, half true.... Agree that they are politically incompetent, but they are incompetent period, not simply politically. As to their "real" accomplishments, they are all a smoke screen and lie. Their "real" accomplishments have been focused on destroying the country and gaining power. Just look at the Wisconsin thing. They are more interested in keeping full union power rather than balancing budgets. Just look at all the Obama stimuluses, they were all Democrat based, not given to the actual people at all.

What you are clearly clueless of is that they have played a "shell game" and you've completely fell for it. They lower taxes in a couple of areas, while in others vastly raise and create them, some of which haven't been implimented yet, but are due to.

As to the Health care thing, the Public and GOP wouldn't allow them to impliment ALL that they actually want to. Thus, they've implimented a compromise, and then the next time around, they will make us fully socialist. It is YOUR ignorance that is incredible. Liberals in the 60's/70's realized that the way to transform this country was to "pretend" they were something they weren't, gaining power, and making "small" changes in order to reach their goals, rather than using violence, etc. to try and reach their goals. In other words, they are using our system against us, they tell us one thing, while believing and doing another.

Further, there are significant problems with the Health care bill.... stuff hidden in there.
Even further, there are MUCH BETTER ways to fix the Health care system, but libs won't allow it, because that isn't actually their goal. Do you get it? It's also clear that they aren't actually trying to fix it, because they play class warfare games in trying to impliment it. People actually trying to make healthcare better would be acting completely different, instead of as fascists forcing something seriously flawed down the country's throat.

Of course, it doesn't help that the opposition has a huge advantage in corporate money and media exposure, coupled with a willingness to blatantly make up their own versions of 'facts' and repeat them until they become commonly believed. That is very difficult to overcome.

Classic liberal class warfare and lies..... They are not "made up" facts, they are peoples own words, the words in the actual bills, etc. etc. You are simply clueless that you've willingly fallen for the "rhetoric" of Obama and the libs, rather than the actual facts and truth. If Fox and Talk Radio didn't exist, people would be absolutely brainwashed, not knowing the WHOLE TRUTH, thus not able to make an informed and accurate judgment, because all the other networks and lamestreem media has become entirely left MSNBC being the worst of all, and the others on a spectrum of liberal bearing false witness and perversion.

I mean, I don't have Cable right now, thus stuck watching local channels and news, and it drives me nuts. Because I watch these news programs, and they are nothing but simplistic liberal crap and lying. I have to turn on the radio to get the FULL FACTS of a particular issue, or go online. Take the Wisconsin thing as an example, if I just watched the local channels, I would think the Gov was simply trying to take away union rights, and bust the union, but that is a complete lie and perversion of the facts, not even the truth at all. I learned what the full facts and truth was because of talk radio. Facts and truth by the way that liberals don't say such as you, you look at issues like children, and just believe what the liberals tell you, rather than truly delving into the issues. Anyway.
