LOLz! (Archive MDB's funniest comments here)

Post by _Redefined »

I’m starting this thread to show some appreciation for those comments that just make ya laugh. If people will participate! I have a feeling some posters here might get more recognition in this thread then others. . . moksha and Some Schmo come to mind.

I know it might take more effort for all of ye lazy laughers out there, but just take the extra second to paste the quote and link! And I’m sure Shades will appreciate it, instead of seeing me LOLling around the board at everything!

I’m gonna start fresh here, since backtracking would just be ridiculously impossible!
So very first here goes to Docter CamNC4Me, for his lovely comment in thread, “Things that must go”:

*Disclaimer* Don't be miffed if ya didn't make it into the thread. . . it just means you aren't as funny as ya think! :P j/k, I don't have God's all-seeing/knowing eye so I'm sure I might miss some really great LOL opportunities, every once and a while! :)

Happy LOLling!

Well, it was inevitable. . . moksha in thread, "The official MDD vs MD comparison":

moksha wrote:I for one am glad that Stemelbow did not give us that old hackneyed Moksha to Juliann comparison. Wearing the same type of Viking helmets is meaningless as a basis for true comparability.

Top Ten Reasons to be Excited About General Conference

Dad of a Mormon wrote:
Will Schryver wrote:Certainly a little harsh on my part. I sincerely apologize to Emma. Upon reflection, I would merely say she was an emotionally volatile, high-maintenance woman who would have been a royal pain in the ass to deal with as a wife, and I admire Joseph Smith all the more for having put up with her all those years.

Don't ever apologize. You suck at it.

Rejoice thread:

Some look at General Conference the way it is and ask why.

I look at the way General Conference could be and ask why not.

All the Best!

From "Hot Russian Women ads" thread:

Quasimodo wrote:
Infymus wrote:Sock, ad companies track you with cookies. When you visit a particular site that uses the same cookie, the site type is tracked by the advertiser company. When you visit other sites that use the same ad server, it remembers you who are and your prior websites - and then targets ads against you.

So the question is thus. What are you doing looking for a Russian bride?

FireFox + AdBlock + Noscript. Do it.

My ad at the moment is for joint pain relief. What else do they know about me? I'm waiting for the Viagra ad.

From thread, "Enish-go-on-Dosh":

Joseph wrote:Bull-0-Shiz-o !

Kinda have to read it in context of the thread though.

AND

Honorary Mention. . . same thread

moksha wrote:Enish-go-on-Dosh is the name of a planet first settled by Celtic explorers during the first age. It is one of fifteen planets connected to the original star gate "powered by Kae-e-vanrash, which is the grand Key". It is second only to Obliblish which has a higher concentration of blondes.

Speaking of clean fuel that does not lead to an over accumulation of green house gasses, Enish "receives its power through the medium of Kli-flos-is-es, or Hah-ko-kau-beam, the stars represented by numbers 22 and 23, receiving light from the revolutions of Kolob".

Hope this helps.

Tee hee hee! The whole "parody" thingy!

NEW FLASH!!!! thread:

Is auto-fellatio a sin, Will? I'm not sure that one's covered by the handbook.

Pardon my schryverism.

I love how David Bokovoy, a faithful Mormon and someone with a relevant education and actual credibility (as opposed to Schryver the carpetbagger) is now a pseudo-apostate for the sin of calling out Will.

You are truly revolting. No wonder you're so popular here.

I think I've just about reached my level of tolerance for this place. I didn't think it was possible, but somehow it has sunk to lows never seen before.

Buffalo wrote:That was just a parody of Schryverian language. Just ask Wade about that. I couldn't be more crass than Schryver if I tried.

If you were a believer in Joseph Smith, how would you answer the questions about his character? If there was a non-verbose answer available, they would have used it by now. I guess these non-verbose answered have been used, actually. These are:

1. Don't worry about it
2. We don't know
3. It wasn't his fault, it was God's

I suppose "he was a lying adulterer who had such little regard for his prophetic mantle that he dropped it in the straw along with his pants" doesn't work, huh...
