Californication fans?

The Showtime series, "Californication", is another one of my guilty pleasures. I think David Ducovney is so sexy!
It is an outlandish show...definitely not for kids..but it's fun!
Premier of the new season is January 9th.
Any other fans of the show?

A week from Sunday is the season premier!
I can't wait to see how Hank gets out of his current mess.
Rob Lowe is the guest star this season; I don't know how he can top Rick Springfield from last season. He was damned hilarious!
I also hope that Kathleen Turner is back as Charlie's boss. She was awesome!

Charlie is a great character. I love him more each season. It's such a well written show. Ducovney is really, really good too. A friend of mine was in the very first episode. The 'actress' that Hank meets at a red light. That's the only reason why I started watching the show and now I'm hooked.

I agree with you about Charlie. I really have a lot of respect for the actor who plays him. I'm so used to seeing him as the "good husband" in "Sex and the City". To see him play a role that is so flawed is really amusing.
That's exciting that your friend had the opportunity to act in an episode! Was she in any others? Does she do any other acting, or was her role on "Californication" a one-time gig?

The actor who plays Pearl's father in the preview from the upcoming episode is serious, sexy man-candy! He gives David Duchovney a run for his money!
It looks like he may be Karen's new love interest.

Yes, this show is about as raunchy as they come, and I LOVE every minute of it!!!

She was only in the pilot, but she does quite a bit of "acting" in a different, very adult genre of film if you catch my drift.
As for this season, I'm loving it.

Tonight's episode was hilarious!
My 2 favorite lines:
1. (The film director's comment on the 2 girls making out) This is a cross between "The Virgin Suicides" and "The Yulelog". I can't look away.
2. Karen: Come on, let's get you a pregnancy test.
