For Simon Belmont:

Gunman Kills Five People at Trolley Square

I guess Trolley Square is just another one of those ghetto malls.

We had a conversation earlier about our opinions on Valley Fair Mall. When I lived in Utah, that was the mall to avoid. My friends there still tell me that Valley Fair does not seem like a safe place.

Of course, I haven't visited it in many years, and it could have improved -- well, except for the recent shooting.

Why doesn't it "seem like a safe place"?

Do your friends tell you that Trolley Square is a place to avoid and is not a safe place?

How many people were killed or wounded at Valley Fair?

@ Scratch: What you're missing here is that Simon Belmont is incapable of making a persuasive or coherent argument about anything, as shown by his OP suggesting that a single recent criminal episode supports his implicit racism and disdain for the lower middle class by insisting that Valley Fair Mall, because of its location, will always be a "ghetto mall."

If Valley Fair Mall is fated to be a ghetto mall regardless of "what they do" to it, then obviously its perpetual status (according to Simon) is based on something other than the stores/restaurants/amenities there.

Oh, look: shootings in downtown Salt Lake.

City Creek must be a ghetto mall.

slimon won't want to go to the lds-inc genealogical library or the Salt Lake County library either. Both way too dangerous for him.

Malls now equal Mormonism, since their Jesus invests in malls. So, now, any topic that involves malls is quintessentially a Mormon topic too.

Simon the Mormon cannot help himself, he must start topics about malls.

I swear, if the LDS Church started a social networking site, and someone started talking about a social networking bubble, or if the Church opened a CD store and someone started talking about iTunes being the future, Simon Belmont would start having kittens about how that someone is anti-Mormon.
