You are saying that the President of the United States, who graduated from Harvard, was selected as an editor of the Harvard Law Review, and is clearly one of the most skilled and intelligent Presidents this country has seen in a long time, is infected with "NAACP/ghetto" disease?

Please support your statement that Obama is one of our most skilled and intelligent Presidents. Can you tell me what his SAT or ACT scores were? My SAT score from 1972 was 1390/1600. What was Obama's? My GPA from Brown was 3.6/4.0. What was Obama's undergraduate GPA? What papers did he write that got him selected for the Harvard Law Review. What peer reviewed articles has he written?

I don't quite get what your scores have to do with Obama's skill and intelligence. Are you trying to indicate that you are more skilled and intelligent than Obama? Is that why you are divulging your private information like that? Quite the ego, indeed.

About Law Review: When I was in law school most law schools did not require anything to be written in order to be selected to the Law Review. Mine did, but, if I am not mistaken, most didn't at the time. You get on Law Review pretty much by your grades alone. Working up through staff to editor-in-chief of Law Review probably requires some politics, aside from your grades. If his grades weren't top notch, I doubt he would have been in that position, however, even given his expertise at politics. I imagine you wouldn't get offered a teaching position at University of Chicago Law School either if you didn't have at least a modicum of skill and intelligence.

Your final question is interesting. I had never had the interest in checking to see where, or even if, he has ever been published. If you find out, let me know, as well. I would like to read it if you get a link.

Oh, and I am on my knees bowing to you Sir. Your numbers clearly outshine mine, so if you were thinking of going there, no need. ;) Your brilliance has been duly noted.

I wouldn't bother, gramps. Richard is only pretending to hold a conversation: His mind was made up long ago.

By the way, most of the people I know who've worked with Obama say he's a very bright guy. Too reticent, perhaps, to flourish in academia, but certainly capable of the intellectual work.

My point is that there are tons of people out there who probably have better credentials than Obama. But let's see what Obama's credentials are. If his grades, papers, etc are sparkling, why does he hide them. Note his campaign's attempt to shut WGN radio down in 2008 when Stanley Kurtz was being interviewed.
Even as Barack Obama gave his soaring speech Thursday night, his campaign was playing hardball with its critics.

Team Obama has launched an offensive against WGN, the Chicago Tribune's radio station, for interviewing Stanley Kurtz. Mr. Kurtz is a conservative writer who this week forced the University of Illinois to finally open its records on Sen. Obama's association with William Ayers, the unrepentant 1970s Weather Underground terrorist.

An Obama campaign email to supporters called Mr. Kurtz a "slimy character assassin" whose "divisive, destructive ranting" should be confronted. WGN producer Zack Christenson says the outpouring of negative calls and emails is "unprecedented." He also notes that it is curious -- because "we wanted the Obama campaign's take" on Mr. Kurtz's findings, but the campaign declined to put anyone on air.

Can you cite an attempt by any other campaign in the last 50 years to force a radio station to NOT interview a critic who was investigating a candidate's background. The audio is here:

Obama appears to have a lot to hide.

Richard, are you equally concerned about George W Bush's academic results?
