1. You have to get up and leave earlier to get the train to work - no more running for the train
2. Young men or women offer you a seat on the crowded express train
3. You do not drink too much coffee before boarding an express train wihout a toilet
4. If you drop some coins and its less than a dollar you do not bother picking them up
5. You keep getting hints to retire by gen y staff
6. You always fall asleep in front of TV
7. It is hard to get down on the floor to play with your grandchild

For all the negatives, I still have a job I enjoy, doing some studies to expand my mind, still have some good health, a wife who keeps me on my toes.

Hi Aussie,
Here are a few more perks of being over the hill......

There is nothing left anymore to learn the hard way.

You no longer think of the speed limit as a challenge.

You can quit trying to hold in your stomach no matter who walks into the room.

Your secrets are safe with your contemporaries because they can't remember them anyway.

You can sing along to elevator music.

People phone you at 9pm and ask, "Did I wake you???"

Lastly, In a hostage situation you are most likely to be released first.

Ah, the 'dubious' joys of getting old. But life is still fun because we have learned to laugh at our foibles!
