I'm having a cook-a-thon today. I am making muffins and waffles and rice krispie treats so far.
I forgot the sugar in my first batch of blueberry muffins!!!
I hope they still taste okay and get eaten. DAMMIT!

I'm also hard-boiling a dozen eggs.
I'm a little worried about the sugarless muffins. LOL
You all should come over!!! It would be a party!

I'm still freaked out by the earthquake. It was scary.
So I'm eating a lot of cheese and chocolate and drinking wine.

Sounds good to me! I didn't even know there was an earthquake. I'm in my own little world...(goes to check the news)

5.9/5.8 epicenter in Virgina but felt all up and down the east coast. I think JFK airport was closed and lots of government buildings evacuated here and in New Jersey.
My ceiling creaked, the walls shook enough to make me think pictures would fall, and the building swayed. I felt two distinct tremors lasting nearly a minute. Blixa jumped into my lap and was freaked out and I wondered if the building would collapse. I'm no earthquake novice, either, I've felt some pretty decent tremors in California and Utah before.
Not fun.

DANG! I'm glad you are okay! I've never been in one and hope to keep it that way.

just me and Blixa,
I'm jealous. Tonight I will be dining at Chuck-A-Rama with my mother. It's one of her favorite places to eat. The sacrifices we all make for our parents! I think I will just try a little bit of their salad bar and hope that I don't get e coli. Pray for me, please.

Oh god! Bless Wang with health and strength and resistance to e coli, hep and any other nasties floating around the salad bar.
