On some of the miracles of Dr. Dahesh

In 1983, just before my mission, I was fasting and praying all the time, trying to get spiritually prepared. I had asked God when Jesus was coming back, because I was told by a number of Mormons that Jesus was coming back in the year 2000, since that was 6,000 years after Adam, the first man on Earth (they told me), was created, so the Jesus was returning then. So, I prayed about it, and fasted, and prayed again.
One evening I had a dream in which I fly out of my body into the night sky, and I headed for the Moon, but I feel into the Sun, and inside the Sun I met a being of light who spoke words I could not understand, but in my mind I heard "He is in New York City". I woke up in a cold sweat.
I shrugged off the dream as peculiar, and laughed about the "He is in New York City" thing. Many years later, nine years after I officially resigned from the LDS Church, in 2005, I discovered information about Doctor Dahesh, the miracle working Prophet of Lebanon, who lived in New York City from 1975 until his death in 1984. I prayed that he would visit me as Jesus visited Thomas, and not long afterwards, during a thunder and lightning storm, somebody walked on my roof, then my living room, then my hallway, then openned my door and sat on the corner of my bed, not saying a word. Some invisible entity. Then the corner of my bed slowly went up, my door openned and closed by itself, and I heard the loud heavy footsteps, like in heavy boots, walk down the hall, then across the living room, and then out my front door.
The recollections of the miracles of Dr. Dahesh, written by witnesses to those miracles, form a book about the size of The Book of Mormon.
Dr. Dahesh was, and still is somewhat, quite famous in Lebanon as a Prophet or the greatest magician of all time, or as the Devil incarnate or sorcerer, depending whom you ask. The following is the recorded testify of Abu Hussein, who knew Dahesh and witnessed many miracles. This is just a portion of his testimony. In the mid-1940s, Dr. Dahesh was persecuted by the Lebanon Government of Lebanese President El-Khouri, because thousands of Christians and Muslims were becoming Daheshists, and this alarmed the religious leaders, who demanded "something be done" with him. El-Khouri responded with a campaign of malicious lies (i.e. he did his miracles via black Magick, he seduced women, he was taking money, etc.) but also tried to have Dahesh arrested several times, and finally succeeded. Abu Hussein tells about several of these incidents when the police came to arrest Dahesh for sorcery. Abu Hussein speaks Arabic, but there are subtitles in English. Enjoy:
