What does it all mean?

An anti-child pornography task force broke down the door of a jailed University of Utah professor’s Cottonwood Heights home and police also searched his campus office after the educator was arrested and charged with viewing explicit child pornography on a Utah-to-Boston flight.

Hey, Quasi. I'm not sure that child pornography is in the same category as plain vanilla adult pornography.

Hey Morley!

You might be right. Still, pornography is pornography. Utah does seem to have the problem. Highest rate per capita of pornography use in the country, I believe.

Was that before or after Warren Jeffs found a new home in Utah?

I'm sure Warren Jeffs' personal use had a profound influence on the actual percentage.

I think it means that the leadership of the Church see Utah as the centre of the universe. This pornography issue has been a common topic of exhortation in General Conference for a number of years - obviously because the problem has been staring them in the face for years.

Is it a problem in the majority of countries in the world or are the GA's simply Utah centric?

And can you guess why that might be.....? Of course, being the anti-mormon you are, I'm sure I already know your "pat" answer. But, facts are not the same as truth.

The actual truth is that Porn is highly restricted in Utah, thus all the non-Members and inactives which is about 65% of the state need to have some way of viewing their porn, and so they do it online. Further, Utah has more computers per-capita than any other state. Thus, this also gives reason for the higher rate.

In conclusion, there is a very legitimate reason why online porn viewing is high in Utah, and it has nothing to do with Mormonism other than being a related causation.

Who knows, but whatever it may be, above your head it will likely soar.

Those are nice theories, but none of them are true. The real reason why Utah has the highest per-capita average of online porn viewing is because I live in Utah.
