As I've always known and seen, both liberals themselves and their ideology has always been a lower intellectual and moral class, contrary to their claims that they are the actual intellectually and morally superior.

As this study shows, liberals like fantasy while conservatives like reality.
Liberals like "feelings" stimulation while conservatives like Intellectual stimulation.
Liberals like vulgarity and low class while conservatives like maturity and higher class.
Liberals like the world of funny and irresponsibility while conservatives like the world of work and responsibility.

And before the liberals cry, obviously these aren't absolute, that there are those on both sides who might be slightly different or the exception. However, it is clear that as a general rule, contrary to liberals claims, conservatives are actually the more moral and intellectually focused.

Liking Reality TV is a little bit different than liking actual reality. LMAO

You're referring to an article in Entertainment Weekly as a 'study.'

Perfect example of how anti-mormons and liberals only see the "surface" of things, rather than actual truth and fact.

They are REPORTING on the study, they didn't actually conduct the study.
The article clearly states who conducted the study, if you actually had a brain to see.

There's several layers of wrong wrapped up in your conclusions lee, but I'm mostly baffled about how you got to your categories based on the TV shows listed. Liking Treme is a matter of "feelings" stimulation and The Bachelor a matter of intellectual stimulation? Colbert Report vs. The Biggest Loser? How did your brain compute that?

I at least understand how you squinted your eyes hard and decided that a few reality shows on the conservatives list led you to conclude that conservatives like reality - forgetting that reality TV is contrived and fictional - and liberals are fantasy based. While seeming to hold a hate-grudge against logic and reason, I at least get that. The intellectual stimulation bit, however, just confuses me.

With that, I'll leave back to arguing that an entertainment weekly article about a survey that concluded self-identified Republicans have a greater preference for watching Auction Hunters to an unknown degree over Democrats means they are more moral and intellectually focused.

I did find it funny that conservatives dislike the Daily Show more than the Colbert Report. Colbert is the more vicious, sharp critic of right-wing media, if only by the necessity of his entire show being a satire of right-wing media. He's also more skewed towards presenting liberal political advocacy. But there's a group of people out there who truly, truly do not get that it is a satire and I wouldn't be surprised if their numbers had an impact on the survey. Maybe not, but definitely not out of the realm of plausible explanation.

I'm not making that bit about certain conservatives not getting Colbert is satire by the way. Here's a study from Ohio State that suggests it's a rather significant group:
