Mine is "Down Under" by Men at Work, which explains my connection to RayA and other ozzies on this forum.

When Doves Cry. Hell yes. And Prince really sucks for not allowing his music on youtube.

I would have thought something more whiny or devious would have worked better.:)

LOL!! I was counting the days I had left in Utah going to BYU when "Physical" came out. When it was banned on Utah radio stations, I couldn't get out of that state fast enough.

- Before it even hit the top of the charts on Nov. 21, the perky, ultra-wholesome blond's million-selling single had made hot headlines when two Utah radio stations banned it for having obscene lyrics like "There's nothing left to talk about/'Less it's horizontally." After receiving numerous complaints, Provo's KFMY-FM and Salt Lake City's KSL-FM (owned by the Mormon church) refused to program the hit. "The lyrics are more suggestive than most songs," said the station's program manager. "It goes the one additional step."

Admittedly not the top billboard hit, but my pick of what was playing (somewhere) that year: John Lee Hooker.
