David Hockney has grasped the new technology and with the assistance of the Brushes app has produced an amazing array of new works. These are on display in the National Gallery, London and I for one will be going to stand in awe before the show closes in April.

What a guy...!

I do like the high tech finger painting he's been doing, but I want to see him break it out into something more than he's done with it yet. Something like his innovative work with photography?

Still, I'd love to see that exhibit.

(by the way, I have a real fondess for this Hockney double portrait: http://deskarati.com/wp-content/uploads ... ockney.jpg)

Edited to add: Digitally aided drawing is a lot of fun. I'm still playing with the tablet and stylus my MDB Secret Santa gave me. Another reason to love this community...
