Am really looking forward to it. Looks a little too Mad Maxish/Star Warsy. Hopefully it transcends that. If not, it is more original in source than those two.

I remember reading a couple of these books when I was young. My teacher suggested it when she saw me looking at the adjacent Tarzan books. Makes me want to see the movie, but now that my daughter is older, I feel ambivalent about seeing any more Disney movies .

I've read the the first four volume of the Barsoom cycle, when I was 7.
(((60 years before... damn.)))
It was an engagement for a life.
Today I have more than 700 scifi books (& like), +uncounted in electronic form, most of them in English.
by the way Johnny Weissmüller, known as Tarzan was of HUngarian origin.

Not all of us.
For example, I am more handsome, more beautiful, more smart and so on.
I have only one negative attribute. I'm a bit of a liar.

Due to the 50/50 reviews, am waiting for this to come to the dollar theater.

I watched it, and I watch so many movies and tv shows the last two years, that it takes a lot to thrill me.
I thought it was actually pretty good. I don't get why it got bad reviews.
I would recommend watching it at the good theater given the fantasy nature of it.
Of course, it depends on how clear your $1 theater is.

Don't worry, the dollar theater here is pretty good. It's actually $3. I still have a big family at home so it's better to pay $15 than $50 to see a movie.

Ya, most of them are $3..... We just say that out of tradition.
Ours the screens are pretty grainy, and one of the screens has a weird focusing issue.
Most movies it's okay, but it's the kind of movie that does well with detail.
But, I know what you're saying family wise. Anyway, hope you enjoy one way or another. :)
