Um....because she was such a talented singer, and it is a shame that she left the world so young.

my wife just told me of this. Sad indeed! I used to play her song on the piano. Tears.

Imho, her personal life took a turn for the worse when she hooked up with Bobby Brown and she never fully recovered. Never seemed the same to me after that.
