http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_pollThe current tactic of shifting to social issues has backfired. Before the now failed and imploded Romney bully story, they were pretty even. Now Romney has opened up a lead and reached 50% for the first time.

Rasmussen's tracking poll has had Romney ahead for at least a week.

It was a narrower lead then. Rasmussen always has a modest to strong Republican lean. Because of Scott Rasmussen's politics it walks the fine line between just having a so-so polling methodology and trying to have the tail wag the dog by making favorable polls towards Republicans become a self-fulfilling prophecy. It's usually offset by other polling firms that carry Democrat leans. That's why poll aggregating is important to getting a clear picture. But this one is an outlier compared to all the other data.

Obama's new ads are sounding pretty shrill and desperate. Can he narrow the gap with those? I think people are growing tired of him.

I still wish it was Ron Paul vs Obama.
At least Ron has actually read the constitution, not wiped his butt with it.

Obama's up by two points overall.
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls ... -1171.htmlRasmussen isn't a trustworthy source of polling data. Nevertheless, I hope Mitt wins!
