Mitt and the Mayan 2012 Big Event

Could the election of Mitt Romney be the 2012 big event foretold in the Mayan Calendar? Both Mitt and the Mayans share a Mexican connection and both led big sporting events. Neither were personally acquainted with Zelph.
Mitt promises changes that would be cataclysmic to the poor. The evidence is mounting.

The end of tines will be ushered in by a Mormon. Moksha did you just change the white horse prophecy to the white house prophecy.

Depending on who wins and especially if the Democrat's lawyers spawn endless recounts if it's close, we could be plunged into civil war in Dec 2012. I think it's a long shot though and I think association with the Mayan calendar would be merely coincidental.
