Romney, standing for...well...what, exactly?

Bcspace has been prolific in starting threads about Romney or Obama etc. But here is what I, as an independent, cannot seem to see.
What does Romney stand for?
Is what he stands for today, the same as what he stood for as Governor? If not, why not?
Come on bcspace (or anyone), what are Romney's top five 'die in a ditch for' policies or initiatives? (that are materially different to that which Obama stands for).
