Should a Mormon Pray at the GOP Convention?

Some think having a Mormon pray at Mitt Romney's nominating convention would be a matter of established precedence. Others believe having a specifically identified Mormon pray would be counterproductive to the elect a generic Mitt processes.

Sheri Dew once prayed at the Bush Convention in 2004. However, she wasn't identified to the crowd as a Mormon and most influential GOP back roomers were out playing polo on their yachts, and shouting, "God almighty" to whatever those girls were doing below deck, during this time slot.

So what do you think? Should a Mormon be asked to pray? How about Donny Osmond?

Sure. Take off the blinders, and call it the Mormon Party. They also ought to have a white horse as their ensign.

Oh, my bad, Moksha. Just a touch of sarcasm.

Several sources are reporting this morning that a Mormon will be delivering the invocation. I cannot find a site that mentions who it will be.
